I went shopping this weekend. Was just going to window shop; I'm in lockdown till after our DisneyWorld trip in a few weeks. Anyway, stopped into Bath and Body Works. They had the most fantastic scent in there. Smelled like a gigantic lemon sugar cookie. Smelled so crisp and fresh and lemony! I just loved it. Lemonchello is its name. Fabulous- and of course it comes in a candle, shower gel, lotion, body creme... yeah. I'm $50 lighter. Thanks BBW.

I have a hard time with scents. Allergies- thanks genetics. Anyway, I can't do florals. I can do citrus scents so I am super pumped about this one.

The selfish selfie- or how to look good in a pic
Ok selfies are everywhere. Want to know how to look fabulous? I'll give you one little trick. Take a picture with the camera above you looking down, you looking up. Why? Gravity. Skin, fat, everything is back. You look down at the camera, everything is down. Trust me- no one wants that.
Proof!
Camera (well phone) up high, me looking up at it:

Fashion Fridays! Who says glasses have to be nerdy?
Good morning, readers! You know last year my eye doctor the awesome Dr. Lam discovered that my eyes, much like the rest of me, are lazy. Luckily, my vision can be corrected with prisms in my lenses. Sadly, that means no contacts anymore. Embrace the four eyes, I say! Glasses can be super fun! They are another accessory and should be treated thusly. I have so much to say about glasses that this may take a few Friday posts- so be warned!
The first thing about glasses is to make sure those babies look good on you. You don't want to wear something that looks awful. What frames look best with you face shape? Knowing which style frames will look good will help you find the perfect pair.
I found this helpful guide at http://www.coastal.com/thelook/face-shape-guide-for-glasses/?cmp=social&src=pn&seg=14-06-18_theLOOK-SMCO
The wrong size frames can be terrible. Case and point:
Clearly, these babies are much too big. But that's ok! Try, try, again!
Protip: selfies are your friend in this situation. I can't see without glasses. Seriously, I'm like Velma from Scooby-Doo. So, in order to make sure it all looks good, I take a selfie. I may have a billion pictures of myself in different frames, but at least I'm not paying a lot of money for something that ends up looking terrible. Like this:
That color though! Gorgeous! Too bad for me they look like joke glasses.
Next week: Go Retro! Exploring the vintage frame.

Skin Care regime- what's yours?
Last night I was chilling with one of my besties and we started talking about skin care regimes. I think I may be a slight tad bit obsessive. Anyway, here's my night time routine. I'll cover day later on.
I found this awesome cleanser in a sample from sephoria. It feels like a jelly, and you just add water. Best part- you don't have to use an eye make up remover!!! Yes, that's right, this cleanser also removes your eye make up. I hate hate hate eye makeup remover; so I was sold.
After I cleanse, I follow up with a cold cream. You know what I love? Nivea in the big blue jar. You can find it at any grocery store, CVS, or Wal-Mart. I started using it about 2 years ago, and my face has never looked younger. I always saw it in the store, but never knew anything about it till I read this article. And, well, I was sold.
And that's it. I'm fabulous!!!!
(Jamie's Notes)
I don't think this is a lot (although I am interested to know the day one not sure you need 2 lol), just a cleaner and a cold cream, seems like something most women (and probably a lot of men) probably do? If you had a cleaner, a cold cream, a wrinkle cream, an eye cream, I dunno are there lip creams?...one of those is they exist...then that might be ridiculous....
On the other hand my skin care regiment is ....when I take a shower, I wash my face, with water. IF I wear makeup I remove it with one of those makeup remover wipes, maybe, I may just let it ride and it will come off on it's own after a few showers. I know I am breaking all the rules of skin care. Whatever, when I look old people will treat me old and then I can act mean and crazy and people will shrug and say don't mind her she is old. ;)
