Book review: Coco Pinchard, the consequences of love and sex by: RobertBryndza

In this book of Coco's latest adventures; her book agent, Angie, had taken on her arch rival Regina Battenburg. Coco also realizes she going to be a mum again at 44!

I loved this book. I actually laughed out loud at Meryl's birth plan! Oh this series is great! 5 stars.

Book review: Coco Pinchard's Big Fat Tipsy Wedding by: Robert Bryndza

In Coco's second adventure; She and Adam are about to move in together. The day before the move, he ends things with Coco and disappears. Coco tries to get to the bottom of things.

This book was so good. Like I said before, the characters feel so real, with real problems and issues. Really a wonderful read. 5 stars

Book Review: The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard by: RobertBryndza

Coco is a writer with a new book coming out. She comes home and finds her husband in bed with a much younger woman.

This book was great. It was like reading a bunch of emails that Coco has sent to her friends and son. The characters are so real. I really enjoyed this one. 5 stars.

Book Review: Diary of a Teenage Fairy Godmother by: Kathleen Baldwin

This book was so cute! Lilliana is on her first assignment as a Fairy Godmother. She has just graduated from Fairy Godmother School; and her first assignment, Jess, is one of Cinderella's decendents. All is not what it seems.

This book was so adorably cute! I cannot wait for the next one! Great idea- I haven't ready anything like it. Very adorable. 5 Stars and a fairy wand for extra measure.

Book Review: Cut From the Same Cloth by Kathleen Baldwin

This is the third book in the Nortorious Aunt series. Normally, Aunt Honore takes a niece under her wing, but in this book it is a nephew. I though this one was the best one out of the three, and I thouroughly enjoyed it. 5 Stars, and I really hope she writes more.

Book review: Mistaken Kiss: A Humorous Traditional Regency Romance byKathleen Baldwin

This is book two in the My Notorious Aunt series. I rather liked this one a lot better than the last. Willa, the main character, has a lot more spunk than her cousin. Very very cute. Still love the Aunt, she's a hoot! 4 stars. Reading the 3rd book now. Can't get enough of Aunt Hornore!

Basically, Aunt Hornore has no children of her own so she takes various neices and introduces them into polite society.

Book Review: Lady Fiasco: A Humorous Traditional regency romance byKathleen Baldwin

This book is the first book in the My Notorious Aunt series. It was pretty light hearted and sweet. However, I was more interested in the aunt than in the main characters. It's a romance, so it's pretty predictable, the aunt is what kept me interested. 3.5 stars, and I'm reading book 2 to see what the aunt does next.

Book Review: One Last Blind Date by Erin Brady

Sarah Jenkins receives a gift from her best friend. It's a membership to an online dating service. While trying to say up her profile, the computer freezes and she calls technical. She speaks with Gabriel, whom she dubs her guardian angel.

This book brings you through her hilarious dating adventures and friendship with Gabriel. Very light read and fun. 4 stars. Very cute.

Book Review: The Other F Word by Susan Stec

I love Susan Stec's books. Her Vampire series is hilarious! Seriously, check out They're so Vein.  This book, however, fell a little flat to me. Dekram is a fairy that feels like an out cast. She's picked on and bullied in school. The only thing is something strange is going on with the adults and it has to do with her future.

This book had an interesting concept- just the slang and the names (regular words spelled backwards) were very distracting and took something away from the book. Plus it ended rather suddenly.  Anyway- 3 Stars.

Book Review Shoes A Reluctant Fairy Tale by Elizabeth A Reeves

This book was soooo cute. Grace is an awkward girl. She receives a mysterious package in the mail, and it's a fabulous pair of shoes.

This was an easy, light, read. It was just adorable. It also made some suprisingly feminist points that were dead on. I'd give it a billion stars, but my scale only goes to 5.

Book Review: Translucent by Dan Rix

First of all, this is a young adult book, and a very quick read. I don't think it took me an hour and a half. That being said, I was very surprised with how good of a book it was.

Leona is camping with her friend when a metorite lands near her camp. She brings back a strange rock as a keepsake. The rock secretes a strange Lucas like substance.

The author did a very good job an building tension in the book. I was very tense and anxious while reading. This was kinda of a suspense- scifi book. I rather liked it and can't wait for the next one. This was the first time I read anything bay Dan Rix. Well done, sir!
5 stars

Book Review: Disenchanted by Robert Kroese

Disenchanted was the selection of the month for a book club that I belong too. Let me say that this book was rather funny. I loved the homage to the Black Night from Monty Python.  Basically King Boric was assassinated but instead of joining the Grand Feast in The Hall of Avandoor, he is cursed as a wraith until he figures out how to break the curse.

5+ stars- because humor! Really enjoyed this one.

Book review: Eeny Meeny by M. J. Arlidge

Eeny Meeny is a crime mystery. Helen Grace is a detective inspector in Southampton (England). People are being kidnapped in twos and are given a choice; one of them must kill the other. The reward is their freedom. Helen Grace and her team have to solve the case before there are more victims. How are the victims related, and how are they related to Helen?

Man, this book had me going. It was really good- I had a hard time putting it down. Helen Grace is a tough cookie with a hidden center. I really liked the book. It was hard to put down and it gave me chills. Very good, can't wait to read more of the author. 5 stars and a hearty recommendation to anyone who likes crime novels.

Book review: A Sea of Stars by Amy A Bartol

Kricket is half Alameeda and half Rafe. Both sides want her for her powers.  This is a futuristic book with aspects of fantasy. I really liked it. It's the second in he Kricket series. This book makes me want to harass the author to write the next one already.  5 stars for story. 3 stars for the lame turn.
4 stars overall.

Spoiler alert below:

The only think I found perturbing is what the hell is the mysterious little sister that was introduced. Now, in book 2 we found out about an imaginary friend that was really the sister? Weak

Book Review: The Palace Job by Patrick Weeks

Ok I really enjoyed this one. Basically a rag tag gang of anti Heroes goes on a quest and inadvertently save the world. Naughty unicorns, creepy priestess, and your mama jokes abound. 5 billion stars. I loved it.

Book Review: The Mermaid's Sister

Just finished The Mermaid's Sister by Carrie Anne Noble. This book was a sweet little fairy tale. A good, fast, read. Clara is a young girl, raised on a mountain with her sister. Her sister starts changing into a mermaid and she has to bring her to the sea. On the way they are captured. Clara has to bring her sister to the sea or she will surely perish. I really loved this little book. It was really sweet. 5 stars.  It was just darling.

Book Review: Forget Me Knot (Royal Reaper 2)

In the continuation of the series, we find Wynter struggling to learn how to be a Dark Angel. Leila continues to find ways to see Mara.

This book flowed nicely. It was fast paced and light. Appropriate for young adults. 4 stars.  Not my usual fare- still entertaining. Again- I'd love it if I were younger.

Book review- Dead Girl Walking (Royal Reaper Book 1)

Ok- so this book was a light read. I'd say appropriate for junior high levels. Quick and easy read. Anyway, Ophelia was a princess till she was murdered and now she is a grim reaper.  This book tells of her journey as a reaper and her growth as she lets go of her old life and begins a new one.

I did not realize it was an easier reading level, but I still enjoyed it. So I'll give it 3 stars as an adult, and 4.5 stars as a Jr. hi kid. I'd really like this if I was in the 7th grade.

Book review: Rise of the Flame

So I finished reading Rise of the Flame by K. N. Lee. This is book 1 of the Eura chronicles. This book is a typical Fantasy type book with different races and realms. Basically Lilae is the chosen one "Flame" who is supposed to save the world.

Ok there is seriously a lot going on in this book, and sometimes it's hard to remember what's happening and who is who. It was very fast paced. All in all, towards the end I couldn't put it down. I really want to read the next in the series. 4.25 stars.

Book review disclaimer

I read a lot. I mean a loooooot. I can usually make it through a book in about 3 hours. So, I'll be reviewing a lot of books on here. Now, I'm only going to read books that interest me. I'm not even going to bother wasting my time on something boring (aka nonfiction) so anything I review will have at least 2 stars by default. I have to really hate a book to give it a bad review. This makes me the Paula Abdul of book reviews. Oh and I'm going to try to make them all spoiler free. If you want spoilers then Wikipedia  is your friend.   #sorrynotsorry
